20% of all profit’s will fund the creation of our very own tutoring initiatives for street children in Agadir, Morocco.
Our plan is to collaborate with energetic young teachers in Agadir who will tutor groups of teenagers every evening, Monday-Friday. We will partner with a local school, and lease some classrooms to run our tutoring classes. The program is set to primarily focus on literacy, language, personal development, and entrepreneurship.
Up to 30,000 children in Morocco are street children having to earn money for themselves and their families rather than attend school.
Some of them go home at night, while others live on the streets having been forced to leave their families due to poverty, family breakup or abuse. On the streets, they are vulnerable to commercial sexual exploitation, recruitment by gangs, drug and alcohol addictions, and violence.
Our investment will primarily cover the teacher’s wages, and any necessary books. We expect to obtain the lease of classrooms free of charge as part of a school collaboration.
More information to soon follow.
